CCRI regularly offers expert advice to tech industry leaders, including Facebook, Google, Spotify, Twitter, and others, regarding their policies against Image-Based Sexual Abuse (IBSA) and other technology-facilitated harms. CCRI was instrumental in encouraging major tech companies to ban nonconsensual distribution of intimate images from their platforms and to implement reporting procedures to investigate complaints, and we continue to encourage companies to develop design-based and user-centered solutions to online abuses. CCRI and its board leadership also serve on the trust and safety councils of various companies.
